Is It Too Late to Join Dance?
The school year has already started, routines are settling in, and your child suddenly decides they want to dance. Did you miss your chance to sign up?
Not necessarily! If you’re looking for fall dance classes in Omaha, there may still be opportunities to join a class at Omaha School of Music & Dance.
You Don’t Have to Start on the First Day
While joining earlier in the season gives dancers more time with their class, beginners don’t need to already know the steps before they walk through the door. Dance class is where they learn them!
Our instructors help students learn at an age-appropriate pace while developing technique, coordination, confidence, and performance skills throughout the year. New students can begin learning the basics while getting comfortable with their instructor and classmates.
Find a Style They’ll Love
One of the best parts about starting dance is finding the style that clicks with your child. Students can explore different styles depending on their age and interests, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and more.
For younger dancers, classes provide a fun introduction to movement, music, and following along in a group. As dancers grow, they can continue building their technique and exploring the styles they enjoy most.
Try Dance Before You Decide
Not sure whether dance is the right fit? A trial class can give your child a chance to experience the class, meet the instructor, and see what they think before enrolling.
If your child has been asking to dance, don’t assume you have to wait until next school year. Fall can still be a great time to get started!
Contact Omaha School of Music & Dance to ask about current fall dance class openings or schedule a trial. We’ll help you find an option that works for your dancer and your family’s schedule.
