Think about the first concert you went to. The crowd was large, the energy was amazing, and the music was exceptional. Each member of the band that you saw played a crucial role in the performance. One of the most important members of any band is the drummer. They’re in charge of keeping the beat, not only for the band but also for the audience so they can dance and sing along. What an amazing instrument to take on and see yourself in such a role! Here at the Omaha School of Music and Dance, we can get you in the right direction to learn how to play all kinds of beats. Soon, you’ll be taking the reins on whatever song you want to learn to drum along to.
Our teachers at OSMD are here to help you strive and succeed in your musical journey. That being said, we have two amazing drum teachers who are able to do privates with you or your child! In our studio, we have a private room with soundproofing walls. That way you can really focus on listening to the beat in your lesson. We have our own set of drums for you to come in and play away with your instructor. What’s even better is that our studio is conveniently located off of 144th and Dodge! Shortly after starting lessons, you’ll see progression in your skills. You can show off those skills at our annual music recital where all our students perform what they’ve learned! Students of all ages are welcome to join in private and group lessons.
