Rebekah Rapoza’s career in dance started at age 3 with hula lessons and has since expanded to ballet, lyrical, jazz, modern, contemporary, and tap. She has auditioned for and performed in various dance roles on stage including in Giselle, The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, and Knowing Good & Evil. As a current graduate student, Rebekah credits dance with keeping her grounded and engaged with the arts. She believes dance is an excellent form of communication and self-expression.
Rebekah has taught dance since 2014 and currently is a dance instructor at Omaha School for Music and Dance. She is passionate about helping students of all ages and backgrounds connect with themselves and with others through movement. Rebekah choreographs in a wide variety of styles and enjoys exploring new techniques and creative storytelling.
When she is not in the studio (or otherwise dancing), Rebekah is an avid bookworm, novice gardener, and adventurous baker in her free time.
